Construction Estimating Services

Estimating

Line-item repair and replacement estimates prepared by consultants who have actually built the work. We estimate in Xactimate and RS Means, document our assumptions, and stand behind every number when it is challenged.

Estimating for a property insurance claim

What We Do & Why It Matters

Estimating Services

When a property is damaged, the estimate tells the story. It defines the scope, sets the cost expectations, and ultimately determines whether a claim is resolved fairly and efficiently. A poor estimate creates disputes, delays, and exposure for everyone involved.

At 360BGC, our estimating services are built on real construction knowledge. We do not just plug numbers into a platform. We understand how buildings are put together, what it takes to repair them properly, and how to produce an estimate that accurately reflects the scope of work required to restore the property to its pre-loss condition.

  5. 05Evaluation of regular and prevailing wage rate determinations where applicable

Common questions

FAQ

What estimating platforms do you use?

We are proficient in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Symbility, CSI, RS Means, CoreLogic, and Marshall-Swift. We work with whichever platform your team prefers and are happy to discuss your specific workflow before the assignment begins.

How do you know what to include in the scope?

Our consultants are experienced construction professionals who understand how buildings are designed, built, and repaired. We perform thorough field inspections, interpret building plans and specifications, and apply our knowledge of construction means and methods to develop a scope that accurately reflects what is needed to restore the property to its pre-loss condition.

How quickly can you turn around an estimate?

We provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) figure within 3 business days of the site visit. A detailed repair estimate follows within 3 weeks. If timeline requirements differ for your file, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

What if the contractor's estimate is significantly different from yours?

That is actually one of the most common reasons clients bring us in. We are happy to review an existing contractor estimate, provide a comparison to our independent assessment, and support the negotiation process with documentation and technical justification.
